I'm currently a sophomore and Human Services major at Elon University in North Carolina but I live in University Heights, OH. I began tutoring in high school through our peer tutoring program, helping out with Chemistry, Biology, Spanish, Algebra, and English. Also, during my first year of college I spent 3 months working at a local non-profit after school program (4, 15-year-olds). My work at the after school program consisted of 2 hours of tutoring every day followed by an hour of free time. I have never received pay for tutoring because I have always willingly volunteered. However, through these experiences I have gained an immense passion for connecting and working with children and I want to continue my work tutoring. I'm a positive, energetic, and responsible person, and I enjoy seeing others progress in areas they find difficult.
